To be a "Foodie" and to write about it is great but what makes one persons opinion any better than the next? In my understanding to become a critic you do not need a culinary degree just journalism experience.

I've often wondered why a blogger or writer with no professional training in the culinary field except for the fact that they like or dislike it can make such an impact on the success or failure of an establishment.

I know the feeling of having such passion for what you love to do. I have been a "Foodie" my entire life and that lead me to The Culinary Institute of America for my education and now my experience has led me to want to write about it and invite other professionals in the Hospitality Industry to share their knowledge and experience as well.

I am not trying to discredit other writers that do not have a Culinary Degree I am only trying to give credit to chefs who might see things from a different point of view and let their voices be heard from the "Back of the House"!
